Transport For Christ is a nondenominational Christian organization. TFC's mission statement is: Winning truck drivers to Jesus Christ and teaching them to grow in their faith. Fifty-foot trailers are converted to chapels and placed at key truck stops throughout North America; in addition, there are three chapels in operation in Moscow, Russia. The chapels are staffed with full-time and volunteer chaplains. The goal is to staff these chapels 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Affiliate ministries exist in Australia and Zambia. TFC also publishes "Highway News and Good News," a monthly evangelistic magazine for truck drivers and friends. The magazine is distributed via individual subscriptions, the ministry's chapels, and bulk distributors who place the magazine in truck stops, churches and other appropriate locations. Circulation as of February 2003: 32,000.
